made of cedar. The dark wood is Western Red Cedar, and
the yellow is
Alaskan Yellow Cedar. The edge and tip reinforcement
is made og ash or
larch.

DIY Paddles
|

| These paddles in
Gram 5000
Series remains to be planed into shape. Paddles are
supplied complete
with glued oval shaft and edge reeinforcement.  Here is the oval
machined shaft, and the start of edge enhancement.
All Paddle blanks are 226cm long and 90-94mm wide. The rim is 10-12mm wide, and paddle can be planed down to 80-85mm, and still have enough reinforced edge. The length is adjustable from 226 to 220 mm for the Paddle with reinforced tip. Without the tip reinfoecement there is no minimum length. The red stripe at the tip,is not longer supplied. |
